STANDARD AIRCRAFT AND FTD RATES

Tuition pays for instructional and educational services.

Aircraft and FTD Utilization Fees pay for the use of aircraft and flight training devices. These fees are separate from Tuition.

The Aircraft and FTD Utilization Fees shown below are estimates based on the training hours included in the program. Fees are paid progressively as training is completed.

Additional training beyond the hours listed in the program requires a new enrolment agreement and additional fees.
Career Outcomes & Expectations
Completion of flight training does not guarantee licensure timelines, employment, income levels, or specific career outcomes. Aviation careers develop over time and are influenced by individual performance, regulatory requirements, medical fitness, and industry conditions. Prospective students are encouraged to research the aviation industry thoroughly and assess their readiness before enrolling.
Admission Requirements

Hold a high school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrollment.

No previous flight experience or pilot licence is required.

Obtain and maintain a valid Transport Canada Category 1 Medical Certificate throughout the Program.

Demonstrate sufficient English-language proficiency to safely participate in flight training.

Meet all published Canadian Aviation College admission requirements in effect at the time of enrollment.
Enrollment Requirements
Enrollment Deposit
The Enrollment Deposit is required to secure enrollment and is applied toward the Student’s Tuition Account.

Domestic Students: CAD $2000

International Students: 60% of tuition
International Student Attendance Requirement
International Students must maintain a minimum of 15 instructional hours in each instructional week and participate in required instructional activities. The weekly requirement is not averaged or carried forward from another week. Failure to comply may result in action under Canadian Aviation College policies and, where required, reporting under EQA and IRCC requirements.
