Dr. John Ling is president of Canadian Aviation College (CAC). He is a galvanizing leader with broad experience in the aviation industry and the post-secondary sector.

Mr. Ling’s portfolio included corporate relations, community engagement, communications, marketing, and community planning. Additionally, he was involved with extensive engagements in business, industry, and the community. As the president of CAC, Mr. Ling led a new vision and led strategies for internationalization, international business development, community engagement, social innovation, student-oriented entrepreneurship, and knowledge mobilization.

Mr. Lapointe is the co-founder of CAC Quebec Campus. He held progressively more senior positions within NAV CANADA in the last 35 years. He has acquired a strong leadership and management background with a wide range of experience in air navigation including both air traffic services (ATS) operations, as well as maintenance operations. He successfully navigated several organizational changes during his tenure, including the privatization of air navigation services in Canada, which has led to significant improvements in both safety levels and operational efficiency.

Sunny is responsible for CAC’s student recruitment, and internal management with a focus to build and continuously improve the infrastructure including Process, System, People to enable and drive rapid growth of the business. Sunny came with 25+ years of professional experience and best practices acquired from Unilever, GSK Pharmaceuticals, TD Bank Financial Group, Wal-Mart, and Coca-Cola. He has held leadership roles in HR and Organization Development as Director or Vice President for 12 years. Sunny graduated from University of Leicester (UK) with a Master’s degree in HR Management, he is also a certified Global HR Professional by Society of HR Management USA.

She is adept at motivating people to overcome their personal obstacles. Amal helps people set goals and cope with changes.
